How We Approach Responsible Play

A casino that lasts is one its guests leave happy — the limits, tools and people we put between a great night and a bad decision.

Entertainment, Priced Like It

Our floor hosts describe the casino the same way we describe the restaurant: an evening's entertainment with a ticket price. The guests who enjoy the floor most are the ones who decided the spend before the first bet — and the house's job is to make that decision easy to keep.

The best night at a casino ends with the guest planning the next one, not regretting the last one.

The Tools on the Floor

Voluntary pre-commitment limits set at the cage or through your host — daily, weekly or per-visit, in five minutes, with a cooling-off period to raise them. Session reminders on electronic gaming. Self-exclusion handled privately, permanently and without lecture, by a team trained to have the conversation properly.

Every floor shift includes a dedicated responsible-play officer — not a policy, a person, identifiable by the discreet pin on the lapel.

What the Law Already Says

Northern Territory regulation sets the floor rules — licensed supervision, excluded-person registers, mandatory reporting. We treat those as the minimum, then add the parts a boutique property can: a smaller floor, hosts who know guests by name, and the option to walk out to a beach instead of a car park.

When to Use It

If the night stops being fun — chasing, hiding, regretting — the pin on the lapel is the right conversation. Referrals to Gambling Helpline (1800 858 858) and local support services are part of every host's toolkit, offered the same way we'd offer a car home: quietly and without a scene.
